I finally received all the podcast files to put the entire thing together. I found that some of my recordings were corrupt, so I had to do them over. Fun. My brain is fried though. I only spent just over two hours working on putting it together. Trying to keep the sound level the same for everyone’s different recordings is a major pain. Now I can’t think straight. I’m probably not finished. I sent it off to the others to listen. They will probably find things that need changed or edited.
Please scroll down and read the previous posts, if you haven’t. I’m going to go rest my brain until I can think again.

I have new project–podcasting. I volunteered. I hope I don’t regret it. My goal for the day is to figure out how to edit a music file or any audio file in Garageband. I get to be the person who puts the whole podcast together and then publishes it. It should be an experience. I just hope I don’t throw the computer out the window. There are several contributors (how fun…you know the saying “too many chefs…”). I will have a two minute portion initially. These volunteer things tend to add work, not subtract it. The podcast is for the same organization as the charity auction.
I’ll be off a little later to the Apple Store. I’m on the hunt for a book on Garageband. Then I may make a quick stop to Toys R Us (PS3 hunt). I so hate going to the mall at this time of year, so I need to get there early. Even weekdays can be a major nuisance.

I’m thinking about burying my head in the sand until the November elections are over. Here in California we get an election guide printed on newsprint sent in the mail. Nowhere else that I have lived does this. This year’s guide is almost 200 pages. Just thinking about 200 pages makes my head explode. I’ve found a few good shows on network TV, which is rare. I don’t have TiVo or something like it, so I can’t forward past commericials. I”m not ready for smarmy Schwarzenegger commercials. What was California thinking when it put him in office? I would like to know why we can’t get a good actor in office.
Now news on the work front yet this morning. It is also a holiday for some people. Everyone I know was busy this weekend, so it was pretty quiet here. I did get a chance to talk about business with my neighbor. She does similar work to what I’m trying to get.
I will be talking with Kelly on her podcast today. That’s the plan. This will be my first podcast, so it should be interesting. You won’t hear any religion or politics there. She does a really nice job with her cast. I really enjoyed her podcast with Ricardo, so I volunteered.
