Really. Truly boring. Although I did notice a little birdy came by my blog who hasn’t visited in awhile. Perhaps tomorrow will give me some good blogging material. I will have to keep a look out. Tomorrow is garage sale day. Only thing I’m looking forward to is making some money. I’m not at all happy that it’s ruining my Friday night because I have to be across town before 6:30 am to set up. If I have to get up an hour a half earlier so I can be across town on time, there better be good blog material!

To my little birdy: posts get categorized according to my whims, thus if I want to hide posts in other categories, I do.

I got tagged over at Yoga Coffee Outlook. So how this works is you Google your first name and 8 different words. I highly recommend putting them in quotes like this:  “Liz needs”. The 8 words are:  needs, is, likes, wants, gets, says, does, and eats. Then enjoy what comes up on Google.

Have we turned into a bunch of narcissists? Looking only for a few minutes of fame? The next evolvement of reality television is at kyte.tv. Until this morning, I hadn’t even heard of kyte. Kyte allows you to start your own broadcast network. While I can see occasions for this kind of thing, mostly I expect this to be a little like YouTube. Although the Kyte founders don’t think they are anything like YouTube.

I’ve always wondered if the invention of reality TV is a sign of the end of our civilization.

This time I’m posing questions to my readers. You may answer any number or all as you wish. I only ask that you be honest and not hold anything back. These questions relate to how you know me from my blog.

Well, I was never going to mention this insidious and hideous website again, but… Violet Blue‘s column today has too juicy of a quote to leave alone. MySpace is about “collecting friends like white cat hair on black Dickies. ” If you’re on MySpace, you know people like this. I’ve seen some profiles that should be sneezing. Although it is titillating white cat hair. I’d hate to see their mouse. Eeew!

Mostly her column is about Web 2.0 dating, and how we love not interacting with people in person. But there is one gem in the article about a entrepreneurial San Francisco techie who has his own page to advertise for dates. Now, there’s a solution! Tired of Match.com, eHarmony, Yahoo? Build your own page and accept applications. Hmm. I wonder if it would work?

My cats are tormented by two doves who have taken up residence under the awning. They have been busy for several days building a nest, so there is a lot of activity. The cats watch intently from the livingroom window. I wonder if the birds can see the cats.

It looks like we will have several weeks of torture. They haven’t laid eggs yet, but they have performed all the activity required for making eggs. That’s more than my cats can handle. I’m mostly concerned about all the bird poo I will have to scrub from the bricks and sidewalk. This is the first time birds have nested here.
