I have stopped watching TV in general, and the news in particular, in 2005. I, also, stopped reading the newspaper or listening to the news on the radio. It feels like the same stories offered with different dates.

Plus, a recent study has revealed that fast TV news and social-networking updates can cripple our brain&#039;s natural emotion processing, meaning that the constant following of rapid-fire news can &quot;numb our sense of morality and make us indifferent to human sufferings.&quot;
