I guess that’s one way to look at it. My son is finally here, but I’m not ready for another person’s mess. He’s a bit of a slob. I don’t mind the mess when it stays in one room (his), but I do mind when the mess covers the entire house. Apparently, cleanliness isn’t that important at his dad’s house, so he doesn’t have a neatness habit.

Two of my cats have begun their summer hibernation. They don’t like strangers, so they hide under the bed or in a closet all day long for the entire time my son is here. They hide like that anytime someone is here.
