I hope it’s entertaining, and if not, I’ll be back Monday.

Rich and greedy, you’re attracted to the dark side of life.
Nothing ever quite satisfies your inner beast. And somehow, people find that sexy.

I’m dealing with people’s commitment. Mostly lackof commitment. Not to me personally, but things in their lives. I get so frustrated when someone says they want something, which requires my assistance, and then doesn’t follow through. So I’m thinking perhaps I should be committed (in the crazy sense) because I keep believing people and believing in people.

It’s a quiet day. No real news. I’m busy with coaching this week leading up to the weekend. I’m also preparing for my son to be here the following weekend. I’m arranging his lessons and cleaning the house. No news about work. I thought I might hear back about arranging a meeting with the CEO, but I haven’t. Maybe it will take longer.

I had a mostly sleepless night. I kept dreaming and waking up. I even caught myself talking aloud. Somehow I have to get enough done today and yet stay awake. It should be interesting. I have dance class tonight that I need to go to since I skipped last Wednesday. My back was hurting so I thought it might be good if I let it rest. I think it helped, but now I’m behind again in dance class.

I was surprised and sorry to hear that we lost Sydney Pollack. I just saw him in a movie I rented–Avenue Montaigne (that’s the English title). I also saw Recount on HBO, a movie he produced. He has directed some of my favorite films, including The Way They Were. His enormous talent will be missed.
Even I had gotten the power his name had in Hollywood. “It’s a Sydney Pollack movie? Oh, it must be good.”

I expected a higher rating.
Your Quirk Factor: 65%

You’re so quirky, it’s hard for you to tell the difference between quirky and normal.
No doubt about it, there’s little about you that’s “normal” or “average.”

I have landscapes to photograph. There are lots of choices out here, but none are accessible. How do you get the photo when there’s no place to park? And I mean NO place to park. Not nearby within walking distance even. I could stop alongside the road, but many roads I was on today didn’t have that option. I began parking at various “driveways.” Those driveways that really lead to nowhere because they are blocked. I feel completely foolish. The most perfect views aren’t obtainable by just me alone. I think I need a zany, intrepid driver/friend to help.

Original…not. Not surprising if true.

It looks like I have a busy day ahead. I have a couple of deadlines and other things to do inside those. It should make for an interesting day.

I have been a bit off-kilter since my computer quit. It seems like I forgot that I had anything else to get done. Now all of these things are coming up. Of course there were the things I couldn’t do without a computer. I had plenty to do otherwise that I completely forgot about. It is great having the computer back (a new one), but I keep finding things that aren’t working quite right. Yesterday it was the printers. I don’t print everyday, so it didn’t occur to me that the printer drivers didn’t get transferred over so that the computer knew what printers I have. The external hard drives I use for backup weren’t exactly talking nicely to the computer either. That took a couple of hours of erasing and backing up newly. I’ve just felt out of sorts. Who knew that losing your main computer for days could cause such a disruption everywhere.
