The camera got here. I can no longer blame bad photos on the camera. Now it’s obvious when it’s me. Mostly I shake. I did get a couple of good photos of one of my cats.

I recently bought a new camera that I have been impatiently waiting to arrive. I’ll be waiting Monday as well. I can hardly wait, since I have wanted a new camera for several years. The next question is what to photograph. Oh, and when I will have/make the time.

And a gardener, and…

I’m disappointed that the new camera I ordered didn’t make it here by Friday. It would have been fun to have part of the weekend to try it out. Instead today is filled with errands and cleaning. Joy.

I’m also feeling a loss when it comes to writing. I spent 30 minutes to an hour each day writing the screenplay. Creating something new.

I don’t think I wrote about finishing my screenplay. I finished on Wednesday–7 days ahead of schedule. I had to wait until today to get my winner’s certificate and the cute little graphic on the right. Here’s the logline:  Romantically-challenged chemist deals with egotistical researchers, crazy friend and runaway mice. I’d say that sums it up.

It was a lot of fun. The last 25 pages were tough because I wanted to quit and had to overcome not wanting to write.

There’s nothing like taking a conversation with someone who was down and turning it around. I had three such conversations yesterday. If only I had the power with the conversations that go on in my head.

I don’t know what was going on last night that I couldn’t get to sleep. Then I couldn’t stay asleep. I don’t remember waking up thinking of anything in particular. Usually some thought or thoughts keep me awake or awaken me. Not the case last night.

I know this is completely silly, but I nearly forgot to post today. I don’t have a lot to say. It’s Monday. I hardly did anything over the weekend, and I don’t feel like doing much today. I have anyway though.
