Where Did the Snide Side Go?
10/03/2007
I wish I had something more interesting to say today. I’m beginning to think that snarky is more interesting to most people than complimentary. Even though everyone loves a compliment–to themselves. It’s a national sport–maybe even a world sport–to cut people down. I have little interest in that anymore.
I spent the morning at the salon, which means my hair smells. I don’t particularly like the smells. I prefer the smells of the hair products I use–much less smelly. I don’t want to wash my hair–again–blow it dry–again. It also damages my hair, and at this point I can’t afford more damage to my hair.
The cats have been naughty while I was away. That’s what I get for being gone for 7 hours last night and then again all morning. And those 7 hours were spent around a large group of people. Nothing sordid or demeaning going on in my life right now. Actually, I’m past that. I have no desire to have anything like that.
