I had seen blog ratings a couple of times today while reading through blogs. Mine was rated PG. It completely misses photographs and video. It looks at how many times certain words appear in the posts. So the rating can be misleading. A couple of photos aren’t PG and the Lenny Bruce video certainly isn’t. I tried this for my blog a week or so back. It went from R to PG in one day. I think it only scans the posts on the front pages and doesn’t bother with archived posts. It is a little misleading though.

Yeah I got an NC 17. I think that’s insane. The tool needs to be refined.
