					<description>Thanks for telling that personal story.  I've been thinking a lot about what society wants in this regard lately, because someone  I know asked his girlfriend to marry him on Valentine's Day.  Not such a bad thing in itself, but, he's only doing it because they've been together long enough that he thinks he has to.  I'm not even sure the two of them like each other all that much.  Maybe I'll point out this post to him.</description>
