I guess I didn’t make the distinction as to who broke it off. He broke up with me without much of a reason. It took years to get past it to the point where I didn’t compare everyone else to him.

I have an ex that I more than happy to hear when she gets a new boyfriend, “buddy” or whatever. It keeps her away from me!
