Good on you for signing up for Nano. I always find the communityof Nano a great motivator, and I've participated for 3 years and finished last year. And I'll be having another go this year. Good luck!

Good luck with the National Novel Writing Month thing. I may submit one of my screenplays to some of the film festivals that hold contests for them. I'm stuck slogging through one now and never really fought to make the other 5 I wrote happen. Why is procrastinating so tempting? Evil.

I agree with being forced to work weekends. I hate it and if I can find a way to be my own boss, I will.

National Novel Writing month sounds like a funny idea. I heard that Tolstoy wrote War and Peace in one month due to a Russian Novel Writing month campaign, so it's definitely possible.

Good luck with your novel writing. I've got something ticking away at the moment, but with study and work I just don't see me meeting the 'Novel Writing Month' deadline..all the best!!
