Silence…

What happened readers? I am surprised that there were no comments to Friday’s post (there are none in the past 24 hours). Was it just too weird to respond to?
Tomorrow I have tryouts for the Tahitian dance team. I won’t know what time I tryout until I get there. I was so busy yesterday that I only had about 15 minutes to practice. I’ve decided that no matter what the outcome is of the tryouts, all the practice has made me a better and stronger dancer.
Just a few days ago, I was complaining about the lack of weight loss. I don’t know that I’ve lost weight. Anytime I develop muscle, I gain weight, but my clothes are looser. It’s not that I’m heavy or need to lose weight by most people’s standards. But I like to be thin. I would rather try to lose weight to fit into the clothes in my closet than go out and buy bigger clothes.

Good luck on the tryouts!
I read the previous post and just didn’t know what to say….it would have been a neat place to see though. I like history.

All the best for the tryouts!!
losing weight… I’m glad I don’t need to lose weight [probably _yet_] coz I like trying and sampling different cuisine… so I guess I’ll have to exercise more!

You’ve had a number of good posts lately. Sometimes I’m just surfing away, and don’t take the time to comment…as is true with most bloggers. I’m hoping to go the Pearl Harbor Memorial, but it won’t be for a least a couple of summers.

I hovered around 245 for years and years. I got a notion in my head that I wanted to break the 250 barrier, o I ate a whole bunch and washed it down with Stout.
I danced and hoppedaround when my scale read 251!!
Woohoohoo!
Big mistake. I’ve been sittin’ around 265 for the past year plus…
I keep thinking hard work will peel it off.
Crap. Now I gotta think about a no beer and fries diet…

Thanks to everyone for the suppport for tryouts.
Donald: Thanks. I’m glad that you’re enjoying my posts.
I just found it interesting that there weren’t any posts to the Pearl Harbor story. It’s the same story I told my friend who I haven’t heard from since. There were some accusations of being crazy. It was fresher then and more emotional.

I hardly have room to complain about my weight. But those few pounds make a difference between a size 6 and a size 4. Last year at this time, I had great success with a diet. My waist and hips were down to the same size I was in high school. I was lovin’ it.
