I’m still recovering from last night’s hula class. A different teacher worked with me to really get the basics down perfectly. I learned a few more steps. I think I only have a couple new ones left to learn. It’s the Tahitian that is killing my thighs and–most recently–my back. The teacher is trying to get everyone strong, so we did the same move for 10 minutes or so. At the end, we moved up and down. Now “down” is nearly on the floor. My knees just wouldn’t go past about halfway bent. Then I couldn’t get back up without making a horrible face.

This morning I’m a bit sore. If it is anything like last week, I will be more sore later in the day.
